We acknowledge the Ngunnawal peoples, Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples, who are the traditional custodians and first peoples of this land.
We pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging and to the memory of their ancestors.
We acknowledge that they have occupied and cared for this land over countless generations
and we celebrate their continuing contribution to the life of our city and of this region.
We also extend our respect to all Aboriginal peoples living in our community.
